Job Title: Director of Real Estate Solutions – Remote/WFH
Overview
We are seeking an accomplished and mission-driven Director of Real Estate Solutions to lead our initiatives in Michigan. This position is pivotal in overseeing all real estate consulting activities within the state, fostering community development through strategic partnerships, and managing high-impact projects that support nonprofit and government partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the growth of the Michigan-based Real Estate Solutions Department by formulating and executing a comprehensive business development strategy.
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with key local stakeholders, ensuring the successful acquisition of consulting contracts and impactful engagement.
- Supervise and mentor the Real Estate Solutions staff, ensuring the timely and professional completion of projects within established budgets.
- Collaborate with senior management to shape departmental strategies, standards, and policies that align with our mission.
- Provide direct oversight for significant and complex projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Actively engage in ongoing professional development, attending relevant educational programs and meetings.
- Champion an inclusive environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of team dynamics and community engagement.
Required Skills
- Proven leadership and managerial expertise with a focus on real estate consulting or community development.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, capable of managing multifaceted projects effectively.

- Comprehensive knowledge of real estate development processes and construction practices.
- Proficiency in project management, with a record of successfully leading teams and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, city planning, policy, business, social science, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of ten years of relevant experience in economic or community development, real estate analysis or development, financial analysis, or construction management, with progressively increasing responsibilities.
- At least one to three years of experience managing staff and overseeing departmental operations, with a preference for candidates with business development experience in the nonprofit sector.

Compensation And Benefits
- Starting salary at $107,700.
- Full-time, exempt employment status with a hybrid remote work schedule: in-office Tuesday and Wednesday, remote Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
